60Hertz in Colombia

Piper Foster Wilder represented 60Hertz in Bogotá earlier this month, sharing 60Hertz's best practice in rural microgrid maintenance, opportunities for mental health in rural development, and sharing the stage during USAID's workshop on offgrid utility planning with NREL, EarthSpark, and numerous Colombian ministries. The goal is develop at least 6 microgrids over the next 2 years.

Following Piper’s visit 60Hertz was invited back for a conference held in Cali, Colombia. Gerardo Lasso represented 60Hertz in Calí, joined by 300 people from regulatory, utility, and governmental agencies at the country's conference focused on how to bring power to the 430,000 Colombians who are not electrified, but good candidates for microgrids.
